I have taught first, second and third grades over the span of MANY years, but my heart is in third grade, where I am teaching Math. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Urban Education. I have been teaching at Flagami for 13 years where I serve as the Grade Level Chairperson.

You can usually find me at home enjoying my family and cooking or baking something.

I am going into my 12th year teaching elementary. I started at Opa-locka Elementary where I looped with my class from 2nd to 3rd grade, I did this a few times and really enjoyed it. Then I transferred to Flagami Elementary where I taught 3rd grade Reading and Language Arts for three years. This will be my first year teaching 5th grade Reading and Language Arts and I am looking forward to it!

I love to travel!!! I enjoy movies and music.

This is my eighteenth year working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.  For the first five years as worked as a system aid at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Elem.  I then received my bachelor in Elem. Ed. and I worked at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Elem. as Kindergarden and First grade teacher. I have been teaching at Flagami Elem. for the past 7 years, as a third grade teacher.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and my dog Rocky. I enjoy boating and swimming and the outdoors.
