Since 2001, I have worked at Flagami Elementary School as the ESOL Resource teacher for grades K – 5 and CCHL teacher in the areas of Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Since 2005, I have been an Adjunct Instructor teaching ESOL-endorsement courses for teachers for the MDCPS district.

In 2008, I was hired as a Master Teacher/Mentor working with Miami Dade College on a five-year grant, Pathways to Excellence in Teaching (PET) Project.

I have special interest in Parental Involvement at my daughters’ school based on their special interest (Dance, Clubs, and Activities). Also, I actively participate at my own school work location (PTA, Committees).

Professionally, I am pursuing state certification requirements in Educational Leadership.

Finally, I personally enjoy assisting in Police K9 Dog Training.
